Cross country captain, district champion, set the school girls 5K record and finished 10th at the 5A state meet... Team captain and district champion in 300 hurdles, 400 meters and 400 and 1600 relays in track ... All-academic in cross country and track all four years, graduated with a 3.85 GPA and belonged to the National Honor Society.

Daughter of Greg and Karen Steen; born 9/21/1995 in Grangeville, Idaho ... Has a younger brother, Tristan ... First of her immediate family to attend college; she plans to major in forestry and hopes to work for the National Park Service; made OSU honor roll in fall quarter 2015 ... Enjoys all outdoor activities, and playing the piano ... Chose to attend Oregon State because "OSU has the best forestry program, it is close to home and I get to stay in the beautiful state of Oregon. I did not reach my athletic goals in high school and Oregon State is providing me with another opportunity to prove myself."
