Green to Miss Trip to Kajikawa

Associate Head Coach Marcie Green will return to the field later in February
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State softball Associate Head Coach Marcie Green will miss the opening weekend trip to Tempe, Ariz., for medical reasons. She will return to the field later in February to resume her duties.
In the meantime, Jolene Henderson has been tabbed to fill in for Green as pitching coach. Henderson is a three-time All-American who played at Cal from 2010-12, and her name appears multiple times in the Bears' record books as she owns three no-hitters and one perfect game.
Most recently, Henderson played professionally in the National Pro Fastpitch League (NPF), as well as in Japan, and was a member of Team USA.
The Beavers open their 2018 campaign against Oklahoma State at the Kajikawa Classic on Friday, February 9. Games against Indiana, No. 25/25 Georgia and No. RV/RV Missouri will broadcast live on the Pac-12 Networks. OSU will face the Hoosiers on Friday at 1 p.m. PT following the opener against Cowgirls at 8 a.m. PT.
Oregon State will follow up with a game against No. 22/19 BYU on Saturday, February 10, at 8:15 a.m. PT before tackling the Bulldogs at 4 p.m. PT the same day. The Beavers will wrap up the trip to Tempe against the Tigers on Sunday, February 11, at 8 a.m. PT.
