Beavers To Open Spring Season In Arizona

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women's golf team will open its spring season at the Westbrook Spring Invitational, which will be held Sunday and Monday in Peoria, Ariz.
FIELD (15): Oregon State, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, UC Davis, Washington State and Wisconsin.
COURSE: The tournament will be held at the par-72, 6,252-yard Westbrook Village Golf Club Vistas Course.
BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State will go with a lineup of senior Susie Cavanagh, junior Olivia Benzin, sophomore Nicole Schroeder and freshmen Amanda Minni and Ellie Slama. This will be the collegiate debut for Minni.
FORMAT: Two-day, 54-hole tournament with 36 holes on Sunday and 18 holes on Monday. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.
TEE TIMES: There will be a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. PT (8:30 a.m. MT) both days.
LIVE SCORING: There will be live scoring for the tournament at birdiefire.com.

FALL SEASON: During the 2017 fall season, Oregon State finished 2-0 at the East West Match Play Challenge, ninth at the Coeur d'Alene Invitational, second at the Ron Moore Invitational and in a tie for ninth at the Pac-12 Preview.
