THE GAME: The No. 8/9 Oregon State women's basketball team will open the 2018-19 season Friday when the Beavers host Cal Poly at Gill Coliseum. The game is slated to tip at 7 p.m.

PARKING: Oregon State will begin charging for women's basketball gameday parking beginning in the 2018-19 season. Paid parking will be available in the Parking Structure and Reser Stadium lots for $5.

WHAT'S COMING UP: Oregon State will host Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Wednesday for its annual Beavers Beyond the Classroom game. That game will tip at 11 a.m., as Oregon State welcomes local schools to join the team at Gill Coliseum.

OSU VS. CAL POLY: Oregon State is 4-2 all-time vs. Cal Poly, and 1-1 during the Scott Rueck era. The Beavers last met the Mustangs in 2015, when Oregon State took an 80-43 win. That contest marked the first career start for then-freshman Katie McWilliams, who took over the point guard position for the injured Sydney Wiese. McWilliams dished out nine assists in the contest, and pulled down five rebounds in 32 minutes of action.

QUICK HITTERS:
- Oregon State is 116-23 since the start of the 2014-15 season, the seventh-best record in the nation over that span, trailing only UConn, Notre Dame, Baylor, Maryland, South Carolina and Louisville.
- The Beavers are one of nine teams in the nation to make the Sweet 16 in each of the last three seasons, joining UConn, South Carolina, Notre Dame, Baylor, Stanford, Texas, UCLA and Mississippi State.
- Oregon State has made the NCAA Tournament five-straight seasons, and has 11 NCAA Tournament wins over that span.
- OSU has 75 Pac-12 wins over the last four seasons, joining Stanford as the only teams in conference history to accomplish that feat.
- The Beavers' four highest win totals have all come over the last four seasons (27 in 2014-15, 32 in 2015-16, 31 in 2016-17, 26 in 2017-18).
- The Beavers have been ranked in every USA Today/WBCA Coaches' poll, dating back to the 2013-14 postseason rankings. Oregon State is one of six teams in the nation to be ranked every week over that period, joining UConn, Notre Dame, Baylor, Maryland and South Carolina.
- Oregon State enters the season ranked No. 8 in the AP Poll, the highest preseason ranking in program history.

- Finished last season 34th in the nation in assist/turnover ratio at 2.36.
- Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team honoree last season, and All-Academic Honorable Mention as a sophomore.
- Shot 45.5 percent from the floor last season, the best percentage for an Oregon State guard on the year.
- Pac-12 Freshman Honorable Mention in 2015-16.
- Went 3-for-3 from 3-point range against UConn in the 2016 Final Four.

PIVEC AND ROLL: Mikayla Pivec Quick Hitters

- Earned CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team honors and Pac-12 All-Academic First Team honors in her sophomore year.
- Shot 45.0 percent from the floor last season.
- Averaged 7.1 rebounds per game, the highest average among guards in the Pac-12.
- Shot 48.2 percent from two-point range on 2017-18 the season.
- Served as Oregon State's starting point guard last season, playing the position for the first time since 7th grade.
- Pac-12 All-Freshman Team in 2016-17.
- Also threw javelin for the Oregon State track team in the spring of 2017, posting the fourth-best mark in OSU history in the event with a throw of 142-4 at the Oregon Twilight Meet.
- Highest-rated signee in Oregon State history prior to Andrea Aquino signing, coming in as the No. 24 player in the nation according to ESPN.
- Won the Washington state-title for the javelin throw in her senior year

GREAT SCOTT: Scott Rueck Quick Hitters
- Inked a contract extension last offseason that runs through the 2026-27 season.
- 2017 John R. Wooden Pac-12 Coach of the Year, becoming one of five coaches in conference history to win the honor multiple times.
- Record at Oregon State is 179-89 making him the second-winningest coach in Oregon State history. Aki Hill holds the Oregon State wins record with 274.
- Rueck engineered an accelerated turnaround at Oregon State, bringing the program into national prominence during his eight seasons as head coach.
- Prior to joining Oregon State, Rueck served as head coach at George Fox in Newburg, Ore., where he built the program into a Division III national power, winning an NCAA title in 2009.
- Rueck's teams have consistently been known for outstanding defense. The Beavers have allowed 56.4 points per game over the course of his tenure. George Fox allowed just 48.3 points per contest in 2009-10, Rueck's final year there, and set a school record with 45.4 points allowed under Rueck in 2007-08.
- Graduated from Oregon State in 1991.

GET SOME TUDOR-ING: Kat Tudor Quick Hitters
- All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention last season.
- Is seventh in Oregon State history with 138 career 3-ponters, 12 behind Alyssa Martin for sixth.
- Had 44 3-pointers in Pac-12 play in 2017-18, with 32 of them coming in five games (5 vs. Washington, 7 vs Washington State, 6 vs. Arizona, 7 vs. Oregon, 7 at Washington).
- Was 33rd in the nation and sixth in the Pac-12 in 3-point percentage during her sophomore year
- Hit at least five 3-pointers in a game eight times last season.
- Hit seven 3-pointers in a game three times last season, joining Talisa Rhea as the only Oregon State players to hit seven triples in a game three times in their career.
- Exploded for 34 points Jan. 19 vs. Oregon, going 10-for-14 from the floor and 7-for-10 from 3-point range. Her scoring output is tied for the 36th-best single game point total in Oregon State history.

- Started the final 25 games of her freshman season
- The Beavers are 17-3 in games where Corosdale hits a 3-pointer.

- Two-time King County League MVP
- Earned a five-star rating from ESPN, and was ranked the No. 6 forward in her signing class.
- Two-time All-State selection in Washington.

#AL3AH: Aleah Goodman Quick Hitters
- Pac-12 All-Freshman Honorable Mention last season
- Her 3-point percentage of 46.2 would have been good for third in the nation last season, if Goodman had reached the NCAA minumum for 3-pointers made (Requirement is two 3-pointers per game played, Goodman had 49 triples in 31 games).
- Played the final game of her high school career at Gill Coliseum, leading La Salle to a state title.
- Two-time Oregon state 5A champion.
- Three-time Oregon 5A Player of the Year

GILL COLISEUM:
- Oregon State has a home record of 60-7 since the start of the 2014-15 season.
- The Beavers have not lost back-to-back home games since falling to Washington and Washington State on Feb. 15 and 18, 2013.
- Oregon State is averaging 4,985 fans per game this season, by far the best attendance in the Pac-12.
- The Beavers are 26-2 in their last 28 Pac-12 home games, and 42-3 in their last 45.
- Opponents are shooting 32.8 percent at Gill Coliseum since the start of the 2013-14 season.

- Made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in both of her seasons at Seward.
- Represented Poland in the FIBA U20 European Championships in Spain's Canary Island

- Made nine starts to start the 2017-18 season
- Notched her first career double-digit scoring performance vs. Utah State on Dec. 2, going 5-for-6 from the floor to finish with 10 points.
- USA Today First Team All-Nevada selection
- Helped Bishop Gorman High School reach the Nevada state title game three times

THROPAY AS YOU GO: Janessa Thropay Quick Hitters
- Scored four points on Dec. 10, 2017 vs. San Jose State, matching a career-high.
- Has performed the National Anthem at a number of Oregon State sporting events, including prior to the Beavers' Civil War game on Jan. 19.

- Earned All-California honors twice.

- The Beavers are 62-10 in Pac-12 play since the start of the 2014-15 season, and 71-11 in their last 82 conference games.
- Oregon State has led the Pac-12 in attendance in each of the last four seasons.
- Beaver players have earned nine All-Pac-12 First-Team nods over the last four seasons.
- Head coach Scott Rueck is one of five coaches in Pac-12 history to win the John R. Wooden Coach of the Year Award multiple times.

THE STAFF: Oregon State Assistant Coaches and Support Staff Quick Hitters
- Associate Head Coach Jonas Chatterton enters his fifth season with the Beavers after spending four seasons at Colorado.
- Associate Head Coach Brian Holsinger served as an assistant coach on the Washington State staff for eight seasons.

- Associate Athletic Trainer Jason Lieuw (code name Sours) is the longest serving member of the Oregon State staff, currently in his ninth year with the team
