Beavers To Face 49ers Sunday In Long Beach

THE GAME: Oregon State (4-1) hits the road again, this time to play Long Beach State (2-4) at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, Calif.

The teams split a pair of games last season with the Beavers winning 89-81 in Corvallis and Long Beach State taking a 74-69 victory at the AdvoCare Invitational in Orlando, Fla. Stephen Thompson Jr. averaged 20.5 points in the two games and Tres Tinkle averaged 17.5.

2019 Recruiting Class: The 2019 class includes Julien Franklin, a 6-foot-7, 190-pound shooting guard from Villa Park, Calif., Gianni Hunt, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound point guard from Torrance, Calif., and Jarod Lucas, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound point guard from Hacienda Heights, Calif.
