Beavers Fall To Sun Devils on Senior Day

Arizona State takes 4-0 win.
CORVALLIS – Oregon State women's soccer team fell to Arizona State, 4-0, Sunday at Paul Lorenz Field.
Arizona State took an early 1-0 off an unfortunate deflection save by freshman-goalkeeper Bridgette Skiba.
McKenzie Weinert had two close attempts and Taylor Lemmond added one attempt to even the playing field for the Beavers, but none would find the back of the net. Arizona would score twice more to take a 3-0 lead into the half.
Mylene Gorzynski, Toni Malone and Allison Pantuso all took shots to try to put Oregon State on the board in the second half, but each one was either saved or blocked by the Sun Devils.
Arizona State would score once in the second half to secure their 4-0 victory.
Oregon State hits the road next Friday for the final game of the season at Oregon.
