Four Administrators Promoted

Oregon State University Vice President/Director of Athletics Scott Barnes announced Thursday the promotions of administrative staff personnel Kyle Bjornstad, Jacque Bruns, Tim De Quilettes, and Tyler Greulich.

Bjornstad, a former men's basketball student-athlete at OSU (2006-09), has been promoted to Associate Athletic Director/Chief of Staff, a position with numerous responsibilities including the stewardship of the department's comprehensive strategic plan and special projects for Barnes. He has been a member of the OSU staff for nearly six years, the last two as the department's Chief of Staff. Prior to his current role, he served as the assistant director of annual giving for Our Beaver Nation. Bjornstad is a 2009 graduate of OSU with a bachelor's degree in speech communication.

Bruns has been promoted to Associate Athletic Director/Chief Financial Officer. She started her OSU career in 2004 as an intern in the Beavers' business office before holding several other roles until being elevated to associate athletic director for business operations in late 2014. Bruns earned both her bachelor's degree (2005) and master's degree (2009) in business administration from OSU. She also possesses a minor in athletic administration from OSU.

De Quilettes has been appointed Director of Information Technology after serving several months in an interim role. He has over 20 years of IT experience that includes time with the Australian Defense Force, and 11 years as senior systems engineer for Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis. He has multiple academic certificates from TAFE College, Northern Territory Rural College and Charles Darwin University – all in Australia. De Quilettes is also professionally certified with Microsoft and is nearing completion of a bachelor's degree in information technology/network security from Central Queensland University.

Greulich has been the Beavers' Director of Facilities & Event Operations for the last two years after spending the previous year as an Assistant Director of Event Operations at the University of Central Florida. The newly appointed Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities & Event Operations previously served as a graduate assistant in the athletic directors office at UCF, in addition to being a game operations assistant for the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl the last three years. He holds a bachelor's in business management with a minor in sports administration (2012) and a master's (2014) degree in business administration from UCF.
