CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State softball's Alysha Everett added second postseason award on Thursday, as the junior was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Pacific Region Third Team announced by the Louisville office.
Everett was also named to the All-Pac-12 Third Team earlier this week. This is head coach Berg's fifth player to receive an All-Region honor. Shelby Weeks (2016), Dani Gilmore (2014) Natalie Hampton and Lea Cavestany (2013).
Everett is batting .316 and leading the team in doubles (11), home runs (8) and RBI (45) heading into the Waco Regional. The junior's 45 RBI is tied for seventh in the single-season records, just five short of the record held by teammate Natalie Hampton.
