Beavers Prepared For Three-Day Tournament

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's golf team returns to action Sunday through Tuesday at the Eighth Annual Bandon Dunes Championship in Bandon, Ore.
FIELD (16): Oregon State, Auburn, Boise State, Colorado, Denver, Fresno State, Georgia State, Gonzaga, CSU-Northridge, Oregon, San Jose State, Seattle, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Utah Valley and Washington State.
COURSE: The tournament will be held at the par-72, 6,893-yard Old MacDonald Course. The tournament rotates between the resort's four courses each year. This is the second time it will be played on the Old MacDonald Course.
BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State will go with a lineup of seniors Calum Hill and Kevin Murphy, junior Jonas Liebich, sophomore Trevor Yu and freshman Shawn Lu.
FORMAT: Three-day, 54-hole tournament with 18 holes each day. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.
TEE TIMES: There will be a shotgun start at 8 a.m. on Monday and tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday off the first and 10th tees.
LIVE SCORING: There will be live scoring for the tournament on birdiefire.com.

LAST TIME OUT: Oregon State shot a 31-over 305-295-295--895 at the par-72, 6,962-yard North Ranch Country Club to finish 12th at the Southwestern Invitational two weeks ago.
Pepperdine cruised to the team title with a 21-under 843, which was 16 strokes better than second-place USC. Sahith Theegala of Pepperdine took medalist honors with a 10-under 206, while Alex Higgs of SMU finished second with a 9-under 207 and two golfers tied for third.
Jonas Liebich battled back in the final two rounds to finish in a team-best tie for 28th place with a 6-over 79-71-72--222. He had four birdies in the final round to equal the total number he dropped during the first two rounds.
Kevin Murphy finished a stroke back with a 7-over 75-73-75--223 to record a tie for 34th place and Trevor Yu shot a 13-over 76-78-75--229 for a tie for 55th.
Calum Hill finished in a tie for 60th with a 14-over 75-73-82--230 and Kyosuke Hara played his best round on the final day to finish in a tie for 71st with a 19-over 81-81-73--235.
Tom Kerkvliet, who was competing as an individual, finished in a tie for 53rd with a 12-over 73-72-83--228.
