Oregon State Women’s Rowing Travels to Head of the Lake

CORVALLIS, Ore. – This Sunday the Oregon State women's rowing team heads to Seattle, Wash. to compete in the 38th Head of the Lake Regatta. The regatta is hosted by Lake Washington Rowing Club and the University of Washington.
This is the first time back at the Head of the Lake Regatta for the Beavers since the fall of 2015.
COURSE: The three-mile course starts in Lake Union, northeast of Gasworks Park, crosses Portage Bay, runs through the Montlake Cut and finishes in Union Bay of Lake Washington.
REGATTA TIMES: The regatta begins at 8 a.m. and runs until the end of the final event at 12:50 p.m.
VIEWING: The race can be viewed from the shore along most of its length. The best viewing spots are at the start near the College Club boathouse, Pocock Rowing Center, and along the Montlake Cut, on the Montlake Bridge and at Ivar's on North Lake Union. Admission is free for the event.
RESULTS: Results can be found at RegattaCentral.org following the completion of the race.
