Artavis Pierce scored his first touchdown of the season
OSU took two fumbles in the first quarter, the first coming on a muffed punt forced by Omar Hicks-Onu and recovered by Brandon Arnold at USC's 29-yard line.
Bright Ugwoegbu recovered his second fumble of the season on the following USC drive at the Trojan 23-yard line.
The Beavers got a 21-yard pass from Darell Garretson to Isaiah Hodgins shortly after to get OSU inside the redzone and a 33-yard field goal attempt from Jordan Choukair cut the Trojan lead to 14-3 with 14:17 remaining in the second quarter.
Manase Hungalu nabbed his second interception of the year, and fourth of his career, later in the second frame after he undercut a route at the USC 40-yard line to give the ball back to Oregon State.
Artavis Pierce recorded his first score of the season at the start of a fourth quarter to cap off a three-play Oregon State drive to put the score at 28-10 with 14:11 remaining in the contest.
