Last Game
Logan Ice doubled off the wall in left, driving home Nick Madrigal, to send the Beavers to a 5-4 win over Seattle in 11 innings Tuesday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. The double was Ice's second of the night and fourth hit of the game.
Ice, Ice, Ice
• Logan Ice's four-hit game Tuesday night extended his hit streak to four games, where he is 8-for-13 (.615) with two RBI and three doubles.
• Ice has a .500 on-base percentage this season, with 32 walks in addition to his 47 hits. Of his 47 hits, 22 have gone for extra bases (46.8 percent). Only KJ Harrison (28-of-46, 60.8 percent) can claim a better percentage.
• Ice has a .494 on-base percentage in league play. He has totaled 20 walks - to just eight strikeouts - in the Beavers' 18 games.
Madrigal Pushes To 12
• Nick Madrigal singled in the 11th Tuesday, and eventually scored the game winner. He finished 1-for-6 and extended his hit streak to 12 games.
• Madrigal is 20-for-56 (.357) during the streak.
• The 12-game streak is his second longest of the season, and is just shy of his 14-game streak. That streak lasted nearly a month, from Feb. 27 through March 25.
• He has hit safely in all but three games this season.
Against Arizona
• Oregon State is 7-3 against the Wildcats dating back to 2012.
• The Beavers have inched the all-time series closer to .500, with Arizona holding a 33-32 lead.
• OSU has won the last three series and seven of the last eight. The lone sweep over that stretch was in 2013 at Arizona.
