The Game
Oregon State hosts Oregon in a Pac-12 Conference matchup Saturday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field in Corvallis. First pitch for the fourth of five Civil War series games presented by PacificSource Health Plans, McDonalds, Spirit Mountain Casino and Your Local Ford Stores is scheduled for 7:02 p.m. PT.

Last Game
Steven Kwan tripled and went 2-for-4 and Michael Gretler and Kyle Nobach each recorded two hits but the Beavers dropped the three-game series opener to Oregon, 7-4, Friday night at Goss Stadium.
Against Oregon
• Oregon State holds a 173-161 advantage in the all-time series, and a 23-15 mark since Oregon re-instated its program prior to the 2009 season.
• All-time, Oregon State is 92-74 at home, with a 13-4 record since 2009.
Kwan Swinging A Hot Stick
• Steven Kwan will take a season-long six-game hit streak into Saturday's game. The freshman is 10-for-15 (.667) during the streak.
• Kwan had three hits on the season entering the hit streak. He had begun the year 3-for-21 (.143). He's now 13-for-36 (.361) overall.
• The freshman also made a leaping catch in center to rob an extra-base hit in the third inning Friday.
Pomeroy
• John Pomeroy had a strong outing in relief Friday night.
• The junior threw a career-long three innings in the opener, striking out three while allowing one hit, one run and three walks.
• His 54 pitches also marks a career-high.
Goss
• The 3,226 in attendance at Friday's game was the third-largest of the season for the Beavers at Goss Stadium.
• Oregon State is averaging a Pac-12 best 2,886 per home game this season.
• The average is on pace to be the second-best in Goss Stadium history. The 2014 team averaged 2,931 per game, which also included five postseason dates.
• The 2016 Beavers are also on pace to play the fewest dates at home - 23 - since the 2008 team played 21.
Singles
• OSU has thrown out 25-of-49 (.510) attempted basestealers this season.
• Oregon State suffered its first loss of the season in its home white uniforms, dropping to 8-1. The Beavers are still 5-0 in the creme uniforms (both “old school” and current).
