Last Game
Logan Ice and Nick Madrigal each recorded two hits and Travis Eckert scattered three hits and two runs over 7 1/3 innings but the Beavers dropped a 5-0 decision to San Francisco Sunday at Goss Stadium. Despite the loss, Oregon State still took the series, winning 8-5 on Friday and 4-0 on Saturday. Both Ice and Madrigal singled twice to pace the OSU attack, which finished with seven hits but was held without an extra-base hit.

Ice On Fire
• Logan Ice extended his hit streak to five games with a 2-for-4 effort in Sunday's loss to San Francisco.
• Over those five games, Ice is 12-for-17 (.706) with seven runs, three doubles, two triples, three home runs and nine runs batted in.
• His slugging percentage is 1.647 and on-base percentage is .700.
• He's also been stellar defensively during that stretch, posting 40 putouts and seven assists. He's 4-for-9 against opposing basestealers.
Fantastic Frosh
• Getting Nick Madrigal and Cadyn Grenier out has been challenging for opposing pitchers.
• Grenier is on a nine-game hit streak entering the weekend, and is 14-for-38 (.368) with six RBI during the streak.
• Madrigal, meanwhile, carries an eight-game streak into Friday's game. He's 14-for-32 (.438) with five RBI during it.
