Oregon State Athletics is excited to announce that it will host a 2016 NCAA Selection Show Watch Party for the men's basketball team Sunday afternoon beginning at 2 p.m. in the Club Level of Reser Stadium. The Selection Show will air on CBS from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
The Beavers are currently 19-12 overall and finished the Pac-12 Conference slate 9-9. Most prognosticators have included OSU in the NCAA Tournament field, which would be the Beavers' first appearance in the tourney since 1990. The opening round dates are March 15, 17-18.
The women's basketball team has already qualified for the NCAA Tournament by virtue of being the Pac-12 Conference's automatic qualifier after winning the league tournament last week. OSU will host a Watch Party for the team Monday, beginning at 3:15 p.m. in the Loge Level of Reser Stadium.
The men's and women's basketball teams have been in the NCAA Tournament at the same time only once in the history of OSU – 1984.
