
Oregon State To Honor Five Seniors Sunday

THE GAME: Oregon State (16-10, 7-8 Pac-12) will honor five seniors when it hosts Washington State (9-19, 1-15) at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at Gill Coliseum in the final regular-season home game.
Daniel Gomis, Langston Morris-Walker, Gary Payton II, Jarmal Reid and Olaf Schaftenaar will be introduced during pregame Senior Day festivities, beginning at approximately 3:15 p.m.
TELEVISION: The game will be televised on Pac-12 Networks and Pac-12 Oregon with Aaron Goldsmith and Lamar Hurd calling the action.

Oregon State clinched a winning record for the second straight season; the last time the Beavers had a winning mark in back-to-back years was 1989-1990 ... vs. WASHINGTON STATE: Oregon State and Washington State meet for the 293rd time with the Beavers holding a 169-123 advantage, including a 100-43 edge in games played in Corvallis. The 292 meetings are the fourth-most in NCAA history, trailing only Oregon State-Oregon (345), Oregon-Washington (299) and Oregon State-Washington (298). The 169 wins by Oregon State are the eighth-most by one school over another in NCAA history.
The Beavers have defeated Washington State five straight times, their longest winning streak over the Cougars since reeling off six in a row from 1988 to 1990.
Oregon State swept Wazzu last season. The first was a 62-47 victory on Jan. 17 in Pullman behind double-doubles by Langston Morris-Walker (22 points, 11 rebounds) and Gary Payton II (13 points, 13 rebounds). The second was a 55-50 win on Feb. 5 at Gill Coliseum when Jarmal Reid scored a career-high 20 points and Malcolm Duvivier added 15.
Oregon State also swept the series two years ago, winning 66-55 in Pullman on Jan. 22 and 68-57 at Gill Coliseum on Feb. 20. The Beavers started their five-game winning streak in the series with a 67-66 victory on Feb. 13, 2013 in Pullman.
A WIN OVER THE COUGARS: If Oregon State defeats Washington State it will improve to 17-10 overall and 8-8 in Pac-12 play. It would also:
- Give Oregon State 17 wins for the second straight season. The last time the Beavers had at least 17 wins in back-to-back years was 1989-1990.
