The Game
Oregon State continues its road trip to the desert when it takes on Kansas State Thursday afternoon at Surprise Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m. PT (1 p.m. in Arizona).

Last Game
Logan Ice homered and tripled during an eight-run fifth inning to help guide the Beavers to a 10-2 victory over Utah Monday to conclude Oregon State's first weekend in Arizona. Jack Anderson and KJ Harrison drove in two runs apiece in the 15-hit attack. Luke Heimlich held the Utes to four hits and two runs over 6 1/3 innings to record his first victory of the season. Ice drove in four runs during the eight-run fifth.
Pac-12 Player Of The Week
• Nick Madrigal is the reigning Pac-12 Player of the Week, covering the first three games of the season.
• The freshman went 7-for-14 (.500) during those three games, collecting six RBI, five of which came with two outs.
• He opened his collegiate career against Ball State on Feb. 19 by going 4-for-4.
That Offense
• Oregon State's bats were red hot the first weekend of play. The Beavers lead the conference with a .373 batting average, 56 points higher than No. 2 Arizona State.
• The Beavers also lead the Pac-12 in slugging percentage (.507) and on-base percentage (.440).
• The team has collected 19 multi-hit efforts over the first four games. OSU had just seven over that stretch last season.

• Junior Trever Morrison has nine hits through the first four games. He is 9-for-16 (.563).

They Seem Familiar
• Oregon State and Kansas State are meeting for the second consecutive season and for the third time over the last four seasons.
• OSU has a three-game lead in the series, dating back to 2013 when the Beavers took 2-of-3 at the Corvallis Super Regional. The Beavers won 10-9 in Surprise last season.
• Oregon State is 20-19 all-time against current members of the Big 12 Conference.
