CORVALLIS – The Oregon State women's basketball team has matched its highest ranking in program history, coming in at No. 7 in this week's Associated Press rankings. The Beavers moved up one spot, after entering the weekend at No. 8.
The NCAA Selection Committee also picked the Beavers as the No. 7 team in the nation, as it released its second top-10 of the year. OSU came in at No. 8 in the USA Today/WBCA Coaches' Poll.
Oregon State is riding a 12-game winning streak, which dates back to Jan. 4. The Beavers are tied for first place in the Pac-12 after sweeping Colorado and Utah over the weekend, and have a record of 22-3 on the year. OSU leads the nation in field goal percentage defense (33.1) and defensive rebounds per game (32.0).
The Beavers will host their final regular-season home games of the year this week, when they take on USC and No. 12 UCLA. Tickets for all Oregon State home games can be purchased at BeaverTickets.com or by calling 800-GOBEAVS.
