vs. UTAH: Oregon State and Utah meet for the 27th time in history with the Utes leading the series 16-10. The home team has dominated the series with the Beavers holding a 9-2 advantage in Corvallis and Utah owning a 12-1 clip in games played in Salt Lake City. The Utes own a pair of neutral site victories, including a 70-64 win on March 12, 1966 in the NCAA Tournament West Regional Final in Los Angeles and a 69-61 win on Dec. 20, 1997 at the Rose Garden in Portland when Utah was ranked seventh in the nation.
Since becoming a member of the Pac-12 in 2012, Utah leads the series, 4-3, with Oregon State winning the first three games and the Utes taking the last four.
Utah won the first meeting between the teams this season, 59-53, on Jan. 17 in Salt Lake City. The Beavers built a 14-point first-half lead, before the Utes rallied for the win. Gary Payton II and Tres Tinkle led Oregon State with 11 points apiece.
The teams played a defensive battle in their lone meeting last season with Utah winning 47-37. It ended a 14-0 start at Gill Coliseum for Oregon State.
