Oregon State University (OSU) Athletics revealed today its selection of Levy Restaurants to provide on-campus dining and hospitality for school athletics, including student athlete dining and game-day hospitality. Levy Restaurants, the premier dining and hospitality partner for high-profile sports and entertainment venues across North America, will design the food and beverage program in partnership with the university. They will infuse more locally-sourced ingredients, working directly with Oregon suppliers and producers to create uniquely-OSU game-day experiences.
“In Levy, we found a partner that shares our vision to provide a first class game-day experience with new food and beverage options, including local fare and outstanding service to our donors and fans," said Mark Massari, Deputy Athletics Director at Oregon State University. "On behalf of Oregon State Athletics, we are also excited to have Levy Restaurants become an integral partner on our performance and nutrition program and our commitment to enhance every aspect of Beaver student-athlete welfare."
“We're proud to partner with Oregon State to elevate their student-athlete and fan dining experience. We are excited to bring the flavors of western Oregon to Beaver fans, building upon the university's proud legacy of agricultural innovation.” said, Andy Lansing, President and CEO of Levy Restaurants.
One of the first things to be addressed through the new partnership is a refresh of the athlete dining hall, formerly known as the Training Table. The new concept, the Performance Table, will don a new look for the first time in 15 years, and a strong focus on personal nutrition, featuring menus that are updated weekly with the input of OSU sports dietitian, Stacey Kasianchuk.
“The passion of college teams and fans makes university athletics and hospitality such an extraordinary space, and OSU has a tremendous vision for their program,” added Lansing.
The OSU dining and hospitality program extends to all of OSU's 18 intercollegiate sports programs that compete in the Pac-12 Conference, the nation's leader for academic excellence and athletic performance.
