
KJ Harrison Named Preseason All-America 2nd Team

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State sophomore infielder KJ Harrison has been named to Louisville Slugger's Preseason All-America Second Team, Collegiate Baseball Newspaper announced on Tuesday morning.
Harrison was the Pac-12's Conference's top freshman in 2015. He batted .309 with 12 doubles, three triples, 10 home runs and a league leading 60 runs batted in. He was also named a Freshman All-American by D1Baseball.com, Baseball America, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and Louisville Slugger.
The Kailua, Hawai'I native returns to an Oregon State team that will enter the season ranked eighth according to Collegiate Baseball. The Beavers are one of four Pac-12 teams ranked in the top 40 to open the year, and the only one in the top 10.
OSU opens the season Feb. 19 against Ball State in Surprise, Ariz., with the home opener slated for March 11 against San Francisco.
