Rowed Stroke on Freshmen 8 for Gonzaga and Stanford dual, at Stanford Invite, the Windmere Cup as well as the Pac-12 Championships ... Picked up victories against Gonzaga & Stanford as well as in the Stanford Invite ... Competed at the World Championships in Bulgaria, rowing in theUnited States' boat for three races during the five-day long event, including the lightweight senior men's 8 final.

Spent three years rowing for the Everett Rowing Association in the Lightweight 8+ and the Varsity 8+ ... LtWt8+ finished fifth at the Youth Nationals is 2010 ... helped the V8+ to second place at the Head of the Charles in 2010 ... V8+ came in second at the San Diego Crew Classic in 2011 ... V8+ finished ninth at Youth Nationals in 2011.

Son of Aileen and Visso Forde ... Mother works for State Farm and father for Microsoft ... Has two younger brothers, Conrad and Elliott ... Former prep teammates competing in Division I Austin Bentley at the United States Naval Academy ... biggest athletic thrill to date is coming in second place at the Head of the Charles in 2010 ... majoring in marketing ... chose Oregon State because it was the "best fit" and he liked the "campus and the team."
