PERSONAL--Born in Lynnwood, WA...daughter of Bart and Ilene...she has six brothers and sisters, Cherrith, 19; Bobbie, 17; Addie, 16; Austin, 12; Lacey, 11; and Deidre, 9...she entered OSU with a 3.5 GPA out of Crater High School...Chassie is in the College of Health & Human Performance and her major is exercise & sport science...her twin sister, Cherrith, is also a member of the OSU squad.

(1998-99--Freshman)--Chassie played and started all 27 games for Oregon State as the shooting guard...she scored 171 points (6.3 ppg), the seventh best mark on the club...Chassie had 37 steals (second best on the team), 37 assists, 7 blocked shots and 90 rebounds...she shot .435 from the field, .333 from 3-point range and .765 from the foul line...her .765 free throw percentage is the 10th best single-season mark in OSU history...scored in 24 of 27 games and had 7 double-figure scoring games, including scoring back-to-back double-figure scoring games twice...averaged 21.4 minutes a game...in 18 Pac-10 games, Chassie scored 96 points (5.3 ppg), produced 22 steals, 19 assists and 50 rebounds, while shooting .389 from the field, .167 from 3-point range and .806 from the foul line...Chassie, surprisingly, scored better on the road in Pac-10 play than she did at Gill Coliseum...she averaged 7.7 points a game on the road and only 3.0 at home...she shot .490 from the field and .826 from the foul line on the road in Pac-10 play, but only .256 from the field at home...Chassie got her OSU career off with a great start, producing a double-double (16 points, 12 rebounds) in her very first collegiate game against San Diego State (11/17)...Chassie added 15 points and 8 rebounds against Colorado State (11/23) in her next outing...Chassie added 17 points, 4 assists and 4 steals on OSU's road swing to Montana (12/3) and Idaho State (12.5)...she had four double-figure scoring games in preseason, including 10 at Montana (12/3) and 10 vs. Long Beach State (12/13)...scored only 3 points in 26 minutes of action in her opening weekend of Pac-10 play vs. Stanford (1/2) and California (1/4) at Gill Coliseum...had 6 points and 7 rebounds at UCLA (1/8) and scored the first 10 points of the game at USC (1/10), hitting all 5 of her field goal attempts in the process...finished the USC game with 14 points, her first double-figure scoring game in Pac-10 play by hitting 6 of 8 from the field...returned to Gill Coliseum to score 5 points vs. Washington State (1/15) and was shut out vs. Washington (1/17)...she was 1 for 7 from the field in those two games...Chassie added 15 points on OSU's road trip to Arizona State (1/21) and Arizona (1/23)...followed the Arizona trip with 4 points in 12 minutes at Oregon (1/29)...once again, she struggled in OSU's next two home games vs. USC (2/4) and UCLA (2/6), scoring only 4 points on 1 out of 10 from the field...finished the season strong by hitting 19 of 40 shots (.475) from the field...season and career bests include 16 points vs. San Diego State; 12 rebounds vs. San Diego State; 5 assists vs. San Diego State; 5 steals vs. Washington; 2 blocked shots vs. San Diego State and 34 minutes played vs. San Diego State.
CRATER HIGH SCHOOL--Chassie was a first-team All-State (Oregonian) forward from Crater High School, where she played for Coach David Heard...Chassie led the Comets to the championship game of the Oregon 4A state tournament before losing 48-41 to Oregon City...Chassie was named first-team all-tournament...Chassie scored 9 points and had 4 rebounds and 4 assists in the championship game...Crater was 24-3 her senior season...she also was a two-time all-conference pick (Southern Oregon Conference)...Chassie, and her sister Cherrith, both started as sophomores at Arlington High School in Arlington, WA...they helped lead Arlington to the Washington 2A state tournament...Chassie, a 5-11 wing player in high school, averaged 13.1 points and 5.7 rebounds a game as a senior, while shooting .534 from the floor and .805 from the foul line...she had 18 blocked shots, 52 steals and 71 assists as a senior...Crater produced a 22-5 record during Chassie's junior year...Chassie shot .601 from the field (school record), .670 from the foul line and averaged 8.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and had 81 steals and 60 assists...Chassie played in the Oregon-Washington All-Star game at the University of Portland on June 21...according to Coach Heard, "Chassie is a great athlete.
