Oregon State now has 18 wins for just the second time since 1990 and Coach Robinson is responsible for both of them (18-18 in his first season; 18-13 this season).
The Beavers' last three wins in the Pac-10/12 Tournament have all been when they are the No. 9 seed playing the No. 8 seed (69-67 over Stanford last season; 71-68 over Arizona State in 2006).
Oregon State held Washington State to an opponent season-tying low 25 second half points (Montana scored 25 in the second half on Dec. 4).
This was the first time this season an Oregon State game was tied with five minutes to play (58-58). Entering today's game, the Beavers were 16-1 when leading and 1-12 when trailing with five minutes to play.
On the season, the Beavers are now 4-6 when trailing at halftime, 2-5 when scoring 60-69 points in a game, 12-4 when outrebounding their opponent and 4-6 in games decided by 1-5 points.
Eric Moreland had 12 boards and now holds the Oregon State freshman rebounding record with 205 to pass Lonnie Shelton who had 204 rebounds in 1973-74.
Moreland has a team-best nine double-figure rebound games this season.
Devon Collier had a game-high 19 points and has now led the Beavers in scoring in seven times this season and has scored in double-figures in 15 of the past 16 games.
Jared Cunningham moved into 20th on Oregon State's career scoring list with 1,177 points to pass Don Smith (1,176). Next on the list is Earl Martin who scored 1,198 career points.
