• Oregon State played in its 61st all-time postseason game and dropped to 38-23 in such games.
• OSU is 6-2 all-time in NCAA Super Regional games.
• OSU will play in an elimination game Saturday, the 15th under head coach Pat Casey since he took over the program in 1995. The Beavers are 11-3 under Casey in such games.
• Oregon State is 11-8 all-time against the Southeastern Conference and 0-2 against Vanderbilt. Their prior meeting came in the 2008 season opener in Tempe, Ariz.
• The Beavers gave up double figures in runs for the second time this season; the first time occurred April 1 in an 18-0 loss at Arizona. The Beavers have scored in double figures themselves nine times.
• The 3,349 in attendance marked a program-record for an OSU Super Regional game, surpassing the 3,284 against Michigan in 2007. Prior to Friday night, the Beavers had played all seven of the program's super regional games in Corvallis.
• Jake Rodriguez recorded his sixth multi-hit game this season. He started at second base for the sixth consecutive game and has two consecutive multiple-hit efforts.
