OREGON STATE: (2000) Saw action in 42 games with 30 starts, mostly in centerfield... Missed 16 games after suffering a broken arm in the middle of February... Had a career-best and team-high 13-game hitting streak to open the season... Recorded at least one hit in 16 of the first 17 games she played in... Set a new OSU single-game record with four stolen bases against Utah State... Tied the school record for runs scored in a game with three against both Utah State and Utah... Lead the team with nine stolen bases... Moved into a tie with teammate Shawna Feldt for fifth place in the OSU career record book with 19 swipes... Ranked third on the team with a .323 batting average... Had eight multiple-hit games... Went 3-for-4 with an RBI, and a run-scored in the Beavers' 4-0 Regionals victory against Northwestern... Ended the season with a three-game hitting streak... Had a .938 fielding percentage.

(1999) Played in all 72 games with 69 starts, mostly at second base... Was second on the team with 31 runs scored, the fifth most by a Beaver in one season... Batted .232 with 51 hits and 18 RBI and was 5-for-7 in stolen bases... Had three doubles and two triples... Had an eight-game hitting streak at one point in the season to tie the team's second longest of the year... Tied a school record for single-game hits when she went 4-for-4 in a win over Creighton... Had two hits in eight other games... Went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI in a win over UCLA and was 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBI and a run against DePaul... Hit .267 and scored three runs in OSU's five games at the NCAA Tournament... Pitched two innings in relief against St. Mary's... Had one strikeout and allowed an unearned run... Helped make 11 double plays, 10th best in the Pac-10... Had a .966 fielding percentage.

(1998) Played in 41 games... Hit .215 with 20 hits and 13 runs... Led the team with five stolen bases... Had two three-hit games, against Hawaii and Sacramento State... Saw six innings of work as a pitcher at the end of the season.

CAMARILLO HS: A three-year letterwinner in softball... Earned first team all-state, All-CIF, All-Ventura County and all-area honors... Marmonte League Player of the Year in 1996... Hit .476 in league action as a senior and .500 as a junior... Also lettered twice in basketball and volleyball.

PERSONAL: Born in West Hills, CA... Daughter of Ron and Molly Rutschman... Has five brothers and sisters... Her cousin Carly Funicello plays basketball at UCLA... Elementary education and history major.
