No. 14 OSU Finishes Second To Wisconsin, Beats Michigan In Three Races

The No. 14 Oregon State varsity, junior varsity, and novice eights each finished second to Wisconsin and beat Michigan in their respective three-boat races Saturday morning on Lake Mendota.
OSU's varsity eight rowed to a time of six minutes, 47.5 seconds to finish 11.9 seconds back of No. 2 Wisconsin and beat No. 18 Michigan by over 16 seconds.
The junior varsity's time of 5:59.2 was much closer to UW, finishing just under four seconds off Wisconsin's pace. OSU clipped Michigan by 2.7 seconds.
The novice eight was 2.3 seconds slower than Wisconsin, rowing to a time of 6:05.4 to beat Michigan by over six seconds.
Wisconsin and Michigan were two of at least eight ranked opponents OSU will face this spring.
Up next for the Beavers are Princeton and Yale in separate duals on May 3.
