Oregon State Yields To No. 2 Stanford, 89-67

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Nicole Powell had 23 points and 11 rebounds as second-ranked Stanford clinched at least a share of the Pac-10 title by defeating Oregon State 89-67 Saturday.
Lindsay Yamasaki added 14 points for the Cardinal (24-1, 14-0 Pac-10). Stanford can clinch the outright title with a win over second-place Washington on Thursday.
Juleen Smith scored 18 points and Leilani Estavan added 14 for the Beavers (13-12, 9-6) who have lost 13 of 14 to Stanford.
The Cardinal moved four games of going undefeated in conference play for the third time in school history.
Powell had a double-double, her eighth of the season and the 14th of her career.
Stanford took a 22-12 lead, then held the Beavers scoreless for 6:50 before going into the half with a 40-21 advantage.
The Cardinal put the game out of reach early in the second half with a 17-0 run that to a 65-28 lead with 14 minutes left. The run featured nearly flawless basketball as Stanford made seven of eight shots including two 3 three-pointers and a free throw.
