CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Awvee Storey scored 17 points to lead Arizona State to a 73-58 victory over Oregon State Thursday night.
Jason Heide led Oregon State (8-12, 2-6 Pac-10) with 18 points.
Arizona State (9-10, 1-7) snapped a seven game losing streak in picking up its first conference win of the season.
A layup by Adam Masten with 6:13 remaining moved the Beavers to within 50-46, but Oregon State would get no closer.
Donnell Knight's steal and dunk pushed the Sun Devils' advantage to 69-54 with 1:56 left in the game.
Arizona State ran out to a 10-4 lead before Oregon State went on a 6-0 run to tie the score at 10-10 with 8:13 remaining in the first half.
