HILO, Hawaii (AP) - Deaundra Tanner scored 22 points and Brian Jackson had 18 points and eight rebounds as Oregon State beat Long Beach State 78-66 in the semifinal round of the Big Island Invitational Tournament on Saturday night.
The Beavers (4-0) will play the winner of Saturday's Oklahoma-Tulane semifinal game for the championship on Sunday.
Oregon State opened a 13-2 lead four minutes into the game and held an 18-point advantage after eight minutes.
Oregon State increased its lead to 20 points, 57-37, with 15:30 left.
The 49ers (2-2) tried to rally, but could not get closer than nine points with less than five minutes remaining.
