Brittney Sheffield is in her first year as a student assistant coach with the Oregon State women's soccer program.
Sheffield played in 37 matches in her first two years for the Beavers and started five of those. She scored a goal against Arizona as a freshman and had two goals and an assist as a sophomore.
The Chico, Calif., native graduated from Chico High School in 2008 where she played four years on the varsity soccer team and was a three-time All-Eastern Athletic League selection. Her team won the EAL three consecutive years and she was a member of the Honor Roll all four years.
She also played on the Butte United Club team for 10 years.
