Katie Homan began her professional career at Oregon State in August of 2014.
She arrived at OSU after working for three years as an assistant athletic trainer at Loras College where she worked primarily with the cross country, women’s volleyball, wrestling and women’s lacrosse teams.
A graduate of Otterbein University, Homan received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2008. After graduation, she completed a four month internship at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. She attended graduate school at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where she earned a Master’s of Arts degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a specialization in Athletic Training in 2011. As a graduate assistant athletic trainer, Katie worked with the women’s basketball and rowing teams.
A native of Coldwater, Ohio, Homan resides in Corvallis.Â
