Why she chose Oregon State: "I chose Oregon State because of the supportive atmosphere within the coaches, staff, and teammates in the gym. The school has a very kind community and all the people here make it feel like home."
- Competed as part of the Beaver beam and bars lineups, appearing in all 12 competitions which included nine performances on both apparatuses
- Started the season strong with a 9.850 beam score in the team’s opening meet against Washington, UCLA and Cal (Jan. 3)
- Season-best 9.875 on the bars against then-ranked No. 23 Utah State (Jan. 25)
- Won first career event title with a 9.900 on the beam against then-ranked No. 23 Denver (March 14), which tied the season-high mark she set against Southern Utah earlier in the season
- Finished the year with 10 scores of 9.800-plus across 13 total hits
Prior to Oregon State:
- Trained under Jimmy Pratt at Bold Gymnastics Club
- Competed at Nationals three times
- First place on beam at Nationals in 2023
- Achieved highest bars score of 9.95 at Regionals in 2024
- Participated in the TOPS program during her childhood
Personal:
- Daughter of Cate and Kevin Cheek
- Has two brothers, Colby and Caleb, and one sister, Keira
- Enjoys trying new food and anything outdoors
- Majoring in Kinesiology with aspirations to become a chiropractor
