2014: Brittany performed in the all-around six times in 2014 … set a career-best scoring 39.400 in the all-around at Arizona (3/9/14) … scored a career-high 9.875 on the vault at Utah (2/22/14) … earned one event title in 2014 scoring 9.925 on the bars against Stanford (2/3/14) … “hit” 37 out of 39 routines in 2014 … finished her career having “hit” 163 of 170 routines.
2013: Brittany once again took major strides as a junior performing in the all-around seven times … qualified for NCAA Championships as an individual all-arounder … finished tied for 12th in her session at the NCAA Championships … earned All-Pac-12 First Team on bars … set a career-high on bars with a 9.95 at Pac-12 Championships (3/23/13) … tied her career-best on vault with a 9.875 at the Metroplex Challenge (1/26/13) … also scored season-high 9.875 on beam and 39.350 in the all-around at Metroplex … tallied 9.85 for a season-high on floor at the Comfort Suites Invitational (3/9/13) … “hit” 45-47 routines in 2013.
2012: Brittany took tremendous strides as a sophomore performing in the all-around in all 13 meets … earned All-Pac-12 Second Team on uneven bars … tied career-high on bars with 9.875 at Pac-12 Championships (3/24/12) … twice tied career-best mark on vault (9.875), first in a win over Stanford (1/27/12) and again at OSU’s Pink Out against UCLA and California (2/17/12) … set season-high in the all-around (39.325) against Stanford and matched it at NCAA Championships (4/20/12) … scored season-high 9.875 on beam at UC Davis (2/10/12) … scored season-best 9.825 on floor in upset win over then-No. 4 Oklahoma (1/13/12) … “hit” 49-52 routines.
2011: Brittany made a major impact for the Beavers as a freshman … performed in the uneven bars and balance beam lineups in 12 meets … performed competition vaults three times and was in the floor lineup six times … established a career-high on bars of 9.875 against UCLA (1/28/11) … thrust into vault and floor lineups at Arizona State (2/6/11) where she posted career-bests on vault (9.875), beam (9.90) and all-around (39.375) … set career-high on floor at California (3/6/11) with a 9.875 … missed Pac-10 Championships following a fall on the practice day, but was available if needed … “hit” 32 out of 33 routines.
PREP CAREER: Brittany was a 2010 Junior Olympic National Team member … finished fourth in the all-around and tied for third on the uneven bars at the J.O. National Championships in 2010 … received the Shannon Miller Award, given annually to the top gymnast in the state of Oklahoma … finished sixth in the all-around and fourth on the bars at the 2009 J.O. National Championships … finished 10th in the all-around at J.O. Nationals in 2008 … three-time Oklahoma state champion … trained at Krafft Gymnastics Academy under coaches Kristi Krafft and Tony Pineda, a former college teammate of OSU associate head coach Michael Chaplin.
PERSONAL: Born in Tulsa, Okla. … daughter of Harriet and Steve Harris … Steve played five years in the NBA for the Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers and Detroit Pistons … has one brother, Justin … majoring in public health with an option in policy … lists her biggest athletic thrill as “scoring a perfect 10.0 on the balance beam at the Kurt Thomas Invitational” … chose OSU because "It felt right. I love the team and coaches, the colors and the mascot. OSU just felt like something I had to be a part of."
