COTTONWOOD: Three-year letterman for the Colts … named an honorable mention KOHL’S All-American kickoff specialist following his senior season … first team all-Region 2 … 5A all-state selection as a senior … invited to ESPN Underclassman Challenge in Orlando (top 15 kickers in the nation) … made 96 out of 99 PATs in 2009 & ’10 … made 16 out of 18 field goals in 2009 & ’10 … on 123 kickoffs, 110 were touchbacks in 2009 & ‘10.

PERSONAL: Born January 17, 1993 in St. George, Utah … son of Wendy Harper and Doug Beplate … has five siblings, Sean, Addie, Carlie, Hannah and Haley … enjoys playing basketball … lists his greatest athletic thrill as “kicking a 50-yard field goal in the closing seconds of half during my last high school game” … chose Oregon State “for the opportunity to major in biology and do pre-med and play football at the same time” … majoring in biology.
