CAREER: Malcolm started six games during his two-year career at OSU … opted to transfer out of the Oregon State program following the 2012 season … won the starting tailback spot as a true freshman in 2011 and was one of 10 true freshmen to play, an OSU record … became the first true freshman in modern history to start the season opener at running back at OSU … rushed for 223 yards and three touchdowns on 33 carries in the season opener against Sacramento State – an OSU freshman record and ninth-best rushing performance in OSU history … a hamstring injury derailed his freshman season and he finished the season with a team-leading 423 rushing yards in 2011 … twice led the team in rushing in 2012 despite falling on the depth chart.
