OREGON STATE – 2014: Hayden has been saddled with a series of nagging injuries off and on since his arrival at OSU and continued during spring drills … has shown good blocking ability … could have an impact on special teams this season. 2013: Hayden transferred to Oregon State as a walkon in the fall … was required to sit out the season due to NCAA transfer rules … redshirt.
MONTANA: Played in 10 games as a true freshman at Montana, making one reception for six yards in 2012.
DAYTON: He was a standout at Dayton High, where he earned 13 letters, (four in football and basketball, three in baseball, and two in track … served as a team captain in all four sports … he was first team all-state in football as a junior and senior … chosen as the West Valley League’s Player of the Year in football as a junior and senior … selected to play in the East-West All-Star Game and the Les Schwab Bowl as senior … high school football coach was Gary Thorson … also an all-state selection in basketball and baseball … started all for three years on Dayton’s basketball team winning the state championship as a senior and finishing as the runner-up as a junior … named West Valley League Player of the Year in baseball as a senior … was the 3A shot put champion his senior year.
