OVERVIEW
- Forced to retire from football following the game at Michigan due to injury
- Following his retirement, David joined Oregon State’s strength and conditioning staff to continue to help the Beavers in a post-football role
- Moved from fullback to linebacker with the arrival of the new coaching staff as the new offense does not include a fullback
- Played as an inside linebacker during spring drills
- Recorded seven tackles in the 2015 Spring Game
- One of 12 players to participate in a special forces leadership development program at Camp Williams in Utah
- Registered four tackles in the season’s first two games before suffering a career-ending injury
