Michael Frisina is in his first season as a special teams quality control analyst at Oregon State. He came to Corvallis after one season in the same role at Boise State.
Frisina was a two-year letterwinner at placekicker for the Broncos in 2011 and 2012. He helped Boise State to a Mountain West title in 2012, and kicked the game-winning field goal against Washington in the 2012 Las Vegas Bowl. He was 18-for-24 in his two seasons in Boise, and accounted for 117 points.
Frisina headed back to his alma mater after one season as the special teams QC at UC Davis, in 2021. He helped the Aggies reach the FCS Playoffs in fall 2021 and lead the nation in net punt average during spring 2021 with first-team All-America punter Daniel Whelan.
He began his coaching career at UNLV in 2020 as a volunteer special teams quality control and specialists coach.
