Kerry Taylor is in his first season on the staff as an offensive quality control coach working with the wide receivers. His duties also include off the field video breakdown and playbook installation for the receivers.

Taylor came to Oregon State after beginning his coaching career as the passing game coordinator at Phoenix College and the head coach at Arizona’s Salt River High School in 2016. In 2015 he was an assistant coach at Chandler High School where he coached current Beaver wide receiver and his brother Kolby Taylor.

Prior to beginning his coaching career, Taylor was four-year NFL career that included playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Arizona Cardinals. He also signed free agent contracts with the Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos.

Taylor was a standout receiver at Arizona State (2007-10) where he started 20 games, played in 46 contests, and amassed 112 receptions for 1,433 yards and seven touchdowns. He is the son of 10-year NFL veteran Keith Taylor and the nephew of former San Francisco 49er standout John Taylor.
