Keanu Yamamoto is in his first season as a defensive graduate assistant coach for the Beavers. He came to Oregon State after spending two seasons in the same role at Boise State.

Yamamoto played in 19 games from 2012-15 as a defensive back for Linfield, where he amassed 111 tackles with 10 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and five interceptions. He was named a Third-Team D3Football.com All-American his senior season. He was also selected all-conference in 2014 and 2015.

Linfield posted a 45-5 record during his tenure, and advanced to the NCAA Division III semifinals in his last two seasons.
