OREGON STATE – 2013: Charlie was awarded a scholarship in September … the former walkon linebacker played special teams in five games – San Diego State, Colorado, Washington State, Washington and the Hawai’i Bowl against Boise State. 2012: Played in one game vs. Nicholls State. 2011: Missed the season due to a foot injury. 2010: Joined the football program as a walkon in the spring of 2010 following OSU student tryouts.
CURTIS: Three-year letterman in football … two-year team captain … all-league linebacker … received Academic Scholar Award at Curtis … as a senior in 2008, ran for 580 yards and eight touchdowns … on defense he recorded 111 tackles, two interceptions, one touchdown, two fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles … also played baseball and basketball as a sophomore.
PERSONAL: Born November 2, 1990 in Tacoma, Washington … son of Deanne Gilmur … has two sisters, Britany and Katie … grandfather, Chuck Gilmur, played basketball professionally for the Chicago Stags and the Washington Senators … lists his biggest athletic thrill as “the OSU student tryout process” … graduated in June with a degree in marketing.
