OREGON STATE – 2014: Andrew Maughan (pronounced Mahn) did not play in a game in 2014. 2013: Andrew transferred to Oregon State in the fall … started the season as a back-up long snapper … forced into action by the season-ending injury to Morovick against San Diego State … became the first-string snapper on punts and eventually took over field goal and PATs snaps as well.
SNOW COLLEGE – 2012: Played tight end at Snow … helped the Badgers to a bowl game in 2012.
LA SALLE: Played football, basketball and baseball for the Falcons … played at tight end and outside linebacker … earned first team All-Capital Conference at tight end and linebacker as a senior … named second team all-conference on defense as a junior.
PERSONAL: Born June 25, 1991 in Lake Oswego, Ore. … son of Kevin and Sandy Maughan … has three siblings, K.C., Sam and Kylee … enjoys fishing, swimming and boating … chose Oregon State “for the engineering program” … studying general engineering.
