Former Oregon State catcher Nate Esposito is in his second season as an undergraduate assistant coach with the Beavers.
Esposito lettered for the Beavers from 2012-14, appearing in 41 games. He totaled 10 hits in 41 at bats and drove in five runs.
The Granite Bay, Calif., native was a 33rd round in the 2015 MLB Draft by Kansas City after one season at Concordia. He went on to spend six years playing professional baseball, appearing in 228 games - including 37 at the Triple-A level - all in the Kansas City organization. He tallied 145 hits with 27 doubles, two triples, four home runs and 58 RBI during his career. He retired from professional baseball after 17 games with Triple-A Omaha in 2021.
Esposito starred at Granite Bay High School before attending Oregon State. He was an All-League and All-City selection during his high school career, and played in the 2010 Area Code Games.
