The Academic Honors Continue

The Oregon State University women’s track and field team has been honored for academic achievement for the 11th consecutive year by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Beavers, under the leadership of head coach Kelly Sullivan, led the Pac-12 Conference and finished 10th nationally with a 3.53 cumulative GPA for the 2014-15 academic year.
“It takes a team effort and a commitment in the classroom to be recognized for academic achievement,” Sullivan said. “The young women in this program take great pride in this honor and I’m proud they have earned this distinction for another year.”
Sophomore Morgan Anderson of Scotts Mills, Ore., and freshman Sam McKinnon of Meridian, Idaho were both honored as USTFCCCA academic All-Americans in outdoor track and field. Both were selected to the Pac-12 all-academic team and each competed in the NCAA West Regionals.
