OREGON STATE (2001-02): David is one of nine returning letterwinners... one of four returning players who helped OSU to a 12th-place finish at the 2001 NCAA Championships
2000-01: • David played in all 14 tournaments after transfer- ring from Pima Junior College
• Averaged 74.9 strokes in 43 rounds
• 74.9 strokes was third-best average on the team (Michael Jurgensen, Anthony Arvidson)
• 43 rounds tied for team lead (Arvidson)
• Won the Cleveland Golf Southwest Classic with a total of 142 (rain cancelled second round)
• Low of 68 came at the ASU Thunderbird Invita- tional, where he shot 1-under 215 to tie for 35th
• Tied for 19th at the NCAA West Regional, where he turned in a 3-over 219, including a final-round 70
• Broke par five times
• Tied for 35th at the Western Intercollegiate with a 222
PIMA: • David earned Second-Team Junior College All- American in 1999
• All-region in 1999
• Finished 12th at 1999 NJCAA National Champion- ship
• Won Tucson City Amateur and Pima County Amateur Championships in 1999 and defended those titles in 2000

• Won 1997 Indian Creek Invitational Championship
• Claimed the Metro Omaha City Championship in 1998

PERSONAL: Born March 14, 1975 in Santa Fe, New Mexico... son of T. David and Carol Yarnes... has two sisters... awarded the Donnelly Golf Scholarship for 2000-01... enjoys music, camping and golf... chose OSU for the school, location and the golf program.
