SOUTH MEDFORD: Three-year starter at wide receiver, two-time first team All-Southwest Conference and first team all-state … played in the Les Schwab All-Star bowl game, where he was named the top back on the south team … two-year starter on basketball as the shooting guard.
PERSONAL: Born October 3, 1990 in Portland, Oregon … son of Bill and Leah Singler … has one brother … Bill is the head football coach at South Medford High School, and was an assistant coach under the late Bill Walsh at Stanford … Mitch’s uncle is former OSU quarterback Ed Singler (1979-82), his cousin E.J. Singler played basketball at Oregon and cousin Kyle Singler played basketball at Duke … named the biology student of the year at South Medford … attended the NCAA National Career in Sports Forum in June of 2012 …graduated in March with a degree in marketing.
