CORVALLIS, Ore. – AC Froehlich's 13 kills paced the Beaver attack as Oregon State volleyball claimed a swift, three-set sweep of the California Baptist Lancers on Thursday inside Gill Coliseum.

Froehlich, the reigning Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week, hit an incredible .565 against CBU, also contributing six digs, two solo blocks and three service aces. Through 13 sets played in 2026, she is now up to 57 kills (4.38 per set) and has double-digit performances in all four OSU matches.

Cheyenne Green's tremendous start to the season continued Thursday, chipping in nine kills, three digs and two block assists, also scoring on a pair of aces to open the third set. Alanna Marrs and Taylor Treahy both contributed five kills of their own, Marrs hitting .417 to go with three blocks and Treahy adding seven digs.

Ivana Cvetkovic led the Beaver defense with six blocks and Jackie Matias totaled 26 assists in the match, while Beatrice Spada hit .375 on eight total attacks to help the Beaver offense to a .301 attack percentage.

Oregon State scored early and often against the Lancers, holding CBU below 20 points in all three sets of Thursday's sweep. Opening the match with a 4-0 run that was capped off by a Kama Goldstein ace, the Beavers consistently rattled off runs of five-plus points in the first, winning 25-14.

Both teams traded blows early in the second, the Lancers even holding a lead at 4-3 before keeping things within three points until the middle portion of the set. Holding a 16-13 advantage, Oregon State rattled off a 6-0 run to take a nine-point lead, fending off a Lancer run of their own to win 25-19.

Green's aces fueled an early 5-1 advantage in the third that set OSU up to ride out a 25-19 set win, officially completing the sweep.
