Jesse Legree Named Pac-12 Freshman Of The Week For Fourth Straight Time

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State wide receiver Jesse Legree has kept his streak alive. The Baltimore, Md., native was named the Pac-12 Conference's Freshman of the Week on Monday.

Legree caught five passes in the Beavers' 33-7 win at UTEP on Saturday, totaling 109 yards while hauling in a pair of touchdowns. The freshman now has 22 catches for 585 yards and six touchdowns on the season.

He is second in the nation with 585 receiving yards while ranking in the the top five for touchdown receptions and yards per catch.

He is the first Beaver to win the honor for or more times, surpassing Damien Martinez, who was recognized three times in 2022. Omar Speights is the only other player to ever be recognized, winning the honor once in 2019.

Legree and the Beavers visit Colorado State Saturday to open Pac-12 play. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. PT (4 p.m. in Fort Collins) and the game is set to air live on USA Sports on the USA Network.
