CORVALLIS  – Oregon State freshman Lea Gentry was named Pac-12 Newcomer of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Gentry scored two goals and had a pair of assists over the course of the week. She opened her account Wednesday against Bushnell, scoring twice and providing an assist. Gentry followed that up with another assist Sunday at Weber State.

The Beavers will return to the Beaver State this week for a road matchup against Oregon and a home contest against Washington.
